A licence key is required at first launch. Installing itself asks for nothing: no account, no sign-up.

Compare it after downloading. On Windows:
certutil -hashfile "Axeho Setup 6.190.0.exe" SHA256
macOS: not available yet. The Mac build requires signing and Apple notarisation that we have not set up. We would rather not offer a file we have not tried ourselves.
Requirements
| Minimum | Comfortable | |
|---|---|---|
| System | Windows 10 64-bit | Windows 11 64-bit |
| Memory | 4 GB | 8 GB or more |
| Disk | 1 GB for the application | + room for your working media |
| Screen | 1366 × 768 | 1920 × 1080, the rythmo band breathes |
| Internet | not needed for editing | required for transcription and voices |
The application needs neither a dedicated graphics card nor hardware decoding: on import it builds a light video proxy and works on that. Timecodes still match the original video at delivery.
What the installer puts down
- The application itself, with everything needed for sound and picture included: nothing else to install.
- The phonetic lexicon of 77,288 entries, which works with no connection.
- No background service, no scheduled task, no driver.
Your projects and settings live in your user folder, separate from the application: an update never touches them.
On first install
- Windows will say “Unknown publisher”. The application is not yet signed with a publisher certificate. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. We say it here rather than let you find out on your own.
- Enter your licence key on the activation screen.
- Fill in your service accounts under Settings → Keys and services. Without them, editing, detection and exports work; transcription and voices stay idle.
Updates
The application checks for a newer version itself and installs it with your agreement. Nothing is replaced behind your back, and updates only download what actually changed.
